He once again has cut the people who need help the most. What about the person that is disabled trying to apply for disablity. Or the person who lost has lost a job. What about the women that are trying to rebuild lives after being abused. These cuts are a disgrace. Do you really think people are living off the system at $205.00 a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have lived on it in the past and know 2 people right now who have been living on it while they wait for a decision from Social Security, so while hard to imagine, it is a reality that some people don’t have any choice but to live on this amount while they wait for other services to kick in as they work to rebuild their lives.
I can understand why the gov’t wants to cut public assistance, but for them cut this on hard working people like myself who always maintained employment is a total disgrace.
