MISSING PERSON - Glen Koons Sinking Spring, PA

Update … Glenn Koons

I received the following information by email from PMHCA and felt I couldn’t have said things any better, so I decided to forward their words onto my readers.  My heart goes out to Glenn’s family and friends

We are very sad to share that Glenn Koon’s body was found in a wooded area near his home on September 1. He had been missing for about two months. It is believed that he died from accidental injuries sustained in a fall on slippery rock during this past weekend’s heavy rain.

Glenn was a long time PMHCA member and a Certified Peer Specialist. He had been an active and compassionate member of the Support Team at the PMHCA conferences and helped people in many ways. He loved his work at Wernersville State Hospital and the people associated with it. Everyone who knew Glenn has good things to say about him. We offer our sympathy to all of his friends, family and colleagues.

Services will be held Thursday, September 8, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Devon, PA. Visitation will be 10 to 11a.m. and the service will be from 11a.m. to noon.

The Koons family would appreciate receiving written testimonials. These and cards may be sent to: Bud and Joan Koons, 617 Diamond Circle, Martinsburg, PA. 16662.
