This October 7, 2012 article on the Huffington Post Tech site, talks about an open source font that is designed to help folks with Dyslexia read better online.  The article includes a sample of the font, and links to where you can get the font.

I do realize that this isn’t specifically a mental health issue, but I also know that sometimes something as simple as enabling someone to do something many take for granted can be a huge boost to their self-esteem, which can benefit their journey on the road to recovery from mental illness.  So, in this case it’s safe to say it is an indirect connection.
