Call To Action Link

This call to action is part of the National Dialogue on Mental Health asking teens and college students to gather in groups of 3 or 4 people on December 5, 2013  and simply send a text to a specific number and then discuss the information they get back in response to their text among their group members.  The Link explains it better then I did, but I have to say it does seem like a cool idea.

This November 26, 2013 Health Day article on the Philly.com website talks about research that indicates that people who exercise as little as once per week seem to age better and have fewer health problems than those who exercise less often or not at all.  Diseases and disorders that were tracked in the study included Alzheimer’s, depression, dementia, heart disease, cancer, and other mental and physical health issues.
