“Check Up: Unbroken ICU sleep lessens delirium”

This April 6, 2014 “The Inquirer” article on the Philly.com website talks about a recent study where an order was given to allow patients in ICU 4.5 hours of uninterrupted sleep and the results seemed to indicate that even that short amount of time spent in uninterrupted sleep was able to decrease the number of days patients suffered from delirium and in many cases decreased their length of stay.
