This link is to the main page of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Mental Health information. It offers a variety of information including but not limited to definitions of mental health and mental illness, information about the financial impact of mental illness and much more. The information read about like Time Magazine in terms of difficulty, so it’s not overly technical in nature, but it does offer a lot of great information at the same time.
