This December 14, 2014 Bucks County Courier Times article is a good reminder that there are people who struggle immensely not just during the holiday seasons, but other times of the year as well.  The article includes a video of an interview with someone who answers a hotline number and shares her perspective on what happens that causes the spikes in calls to hotlines across the country.

This June 29, 2014 article with audio segment is found on the NewsWorks website and discusses a grant recently received by a group in Bucks County that they hope will enable them to help people with mental illnesses improve their cognitive abilities.  The hope is that the program will help people with serious mental illnesses be more successful when it comes to living independently

This October 15, 2013 article found on the Patriot-News powered Penn Live website in Central Pennsylvania, explains why voters will be asked for ID at the coming election, but NOT required in most cases to present it.  the long-standing rule about someone who is a first time voter at their assigned polling place will still apply.  Voters who have voted at their assigned polling place before will be asked for id, but NOT required to show it.  The new Voter ID law is still on hold by order of the state Supreme Court.
