Just a friendly reminder that for folks in Pennsylvania need to remember to “spring ahead” and set their clocks ahead 1 hour before they go to bed on Saturday, March 12, to ensure they are on time for whatever plans they may have for Sunday.

Timetemperature.com website has information about Daylight Saving Time in the United States.  Those of us in Pennsylvania are among those who need to change our clocks twice a year, and tonight is the night we “spring ahead” and set our clocks ahead one hour.

“Daylight saving time: Can springing ahead save energy or money? “

This March 8, 2013 article on the Christian Science Monitor website talks about the history of Daylight Saving Time and talks about whether the thinking that it would save money to adjust the clock in the spring and fall really works or not.

It’s time!

Just a friendly reminder to say that if you didn’t set your clocks back an hour last night, you should probably do that, unless you live someplace outside of Pennsylvania that doesn’t change their clocks twice a year, then you don’t have to worry about it.  However if you are inside the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and you haven’t changed your clocks yet, your schedule will be a mess until you do not to mention those who remembered to change their clocks, just might laugh a little when you say you weren’t on time for something because you didn’t change your clock 😉

Time to turn the clocks back

For those who experience Daylight Saving time, it’s that time again … the time when we set our clocks back an hour of course there is always someone who doesn’t change their clocks and is either really late or really early for the first thing they have scheduled on clock changing day which occurrs in the spring and fall every year.  So, if you don’t want to be the one person who is obviously out of sync with the rest of the people around you, you may want to take a few minutes to go around and turn your clocks ahead before you go to bed …. or if you prefer to be right on time, you could stay up until 2am and change them then when the time officially changes.

In case you’re wondering, I scheduled this post back in March when I realized compliments of the Erie Times-News that I had to turn my clocks ahead a little thing I was totally clueless to beyond knowing it was “coming up”.  So this goofy post is as much for myself as it is for my readers…. I can never remember when to change my clocks just that it happens in the spring and fall so now you know how clueless I can be and that I schedule posts in advance this one was written on March 11, 2012 the day I discovered by way of the newspaper I need to change my clocks.
