This December 2, 2012 article on the Gant Daily website talks about the issue of Mental Health Parity being a law, but that it is unsupported by any rules explaining what should or shouldn’t be required to be covered by mental health insurance coverage.

This July 19, 2012 article found on the Savannah Morning News website, talks about the current obstacles faced by folks with mental illnesses.  The article points out that with adequate support in the community many mental illnesses could be more manageable at a lower cost to society,  and that in some cases the folks with a mental illness may even be able to work or be able to contribute to the country.
