This article dated June 30, 2012 on the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette website offers some info on the human service block grant pilot program, and has an interesting quote indicating that folks on General Assistance MIGHT get their last check at the end of July instead of the end of June, but I haven’t been able to confirm this rumor yet.
