This July 22, 2012 article out of Berks County talks about changes a group of disabled folks are advocating for in their area.  As they pointed out, in the article, ‘they do everything everyone else does, they just do it differently’.   Having access to sidewalks in my opinion is not a bad thing, it is simply asking that they be able to feel safe as they go about their day-to-day activities, just like anyone who is not disabled would want.  Very cool article though, and worth reading if you have an interest in the ADA or want to maybe learn about how it affects people in day-to-day life.
