This February 5, 2015 article on the Penn State News site, talks about an annual report by the Center for Collegiate Mental Health (CCMH) that looked at about 240 different colleges and universities and after 6 years of research has noticed that while sexual assault is decreasing, there seems to be a trend showing that self-injury and suicidal thoughts are increasing among college students

“Text, Talk, Act to Improve Mental Health “
This call to action is part of the National Dialogue on Mental Health asking teens and college students to gather in groups of 3 or 4 people on December 5, 2013 and simply send a text to a specific number and then discuss the information they get back in response to their text among their group members. The Link explains it better then I did, but I have to say it does seem like a cool idea.
